Part of the Fisher Building, a skyscraped built 1928 by Albert Kahn. Theatre built by Anker Sverre Graven, Arthur Guy Mayger. Opened 6 Nov 1928 with the film "Outcast". Used as a vaudeville theatre and cinema. 1961 purchased by the Nederlander Organization; subsequently major rebuilding by Rapp & Rapp. Re-opened 1 Oct 1961. 2715 seats.
