Cinema, built Henry L. Span and William T. Spann for John G. Sattler, replacing the "Casino Theatre". Opened 1914 as "Sattler Theatre". 1920 renamed "Broadway Theatre", later "Basil's Broadway Theatre". While the building originally was a cinema without live performances, a small staged was later installed. Closed in the 1960s. Subsequently used as a mosque (Mohammed's Mosque 23), from 1976 as a church (Joy Temple Church). Closed 1996 and abandoned. Restoration planned.
