Opened 28 Sep 1906 as "Barrasford's Royal Hippodrome Theatre". Used as a variety theatre and as a cinema. 1948 renamed "Gaumont Cinema". Closed 16 Jan 1971. Demolished in February 1973 in favour of the office block "Barrasford House".
