Destroyed by a fire on 25 Jan 1672. 2nd theatre built 1672 by Sir Christopher Wren. Demolished in 1791.] 3rd theatre built 1794 by Henry Holland. Destroyed by a fire on 24 Feb 1809. [Subsequently a 4th theatre was built, the present "Theatre Royal Drury Lane".]
