Built 1893 by Spencer Chadwick with Charles John Phipps for the American theatre director, John Augustin Daly (1838-1899). Opened 27 June 1893. Demolished in 1937 in favour of a Warner Cinema (later "Warner Village Cinema", now "Vue West End").
