Verity (interior). Opened 22 Feb 1932 as "Paramount Theatre" with "The Smiling Lieutenant". Originally 2556 seats. 1940 renamed "Odeon Cinema". Also used as a music venue. Wurlitzer Organ removed in the 1960s and moved to the Thursford Collection in Thursford, Norfolk. Interior alterations 1969, 1978 and 1988. Closed 2001. Subsequently converted into a store.
