Built 1865 as a corn exchange. Later converted into a skating rink. 1913 converted into a cinema and music hall. Destroyed by a fire on 16 May 1925. Rebuilt using the original exterior and re-opened as "Grand Exchange Cinema". From 1940 used for live theatre. 1951 renamed "Haymarket Theatre". 1983 and 1992 rebuildings, completely changing the interior.
