Ship Theatre: MS Völkerfreundschaft

Ship launched 1948 as "Stockholm". 1960 renamed "Völkerfreundschaft" [friendship among the peoples] and used as cruise ship by the FDGB, the trade union of the German Democratic Republic. 1985 renamed "Volker", later renamed "Fridtjof Nansen", "Surriento", "Italia I", "Italia Prima", "Valtur Prima", "Caribe", "Athena", "Azores", "Astoria".
