Multi-purpose hall, built 1969-1972 as an adaptation the Yubileyny Trade Union and Sports Palace in Leningrad (= Sankt Peterburg, Russia). Opened 7 Nov 1972 as "Stadthalle der Freundschaft". In the 1990s major rebuilding of all annexes to the main round hall building. 1995 renamed "Congress Centrum Suhl" (CCS). Main hall with 2352 seats, various other halls. Used for shows, symphonic concerts, and various events.
