Giese. Opened 1898 as "Schützenhaus". 1949 renamed "Kreiskulturhaus" (District House of Culture). 1987 damaged by fire. 2003 purchased by far right extremists (who planned to re-open it as a far right convention centre, which did not happen). 2011 purchased by the city of Pößneck. 2014-2017 major rebuilding and renovation. Re-opened 17 Feb 2017 as a municipal cultural centre. |
