Cinema and live theatre stage Built 1951 by Gerhard Thoma part of the "Badischer Hof" complex to replace a previous "Volkstheater" building destroyed by an explosion in September 1945. Opened 9 Feb 1951 with a movie showing. Originally 522 seats, later 458 seats. 1957 addition of another cinema to the complex ("Neues Cinema").

Despite the designation as cultural heritage monument the whole complex is scheduled for demolition in favour of a road tunnel.
