Named in reference to the Opéra-Comique, Paris. From 1911, used mainly for operetta performances. From 1921, used as a revue theatre. Ca. 1150 seats. Destroyed by bombs in World War II. [NB: Today's "Komische Oper" has no conncetion to this theatre and is located at another site in Behrenstraße.] Notable world premieres:
