Country: France Region: Grand Est (Alsace) Department: Bas-Rhin City: Strasbourg (Straßburg) Location: 30, place Kléber Built 1765-1772 by Jacques-François Blondel as military lodgings. Severely damaged by fire in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. 1873-1878 rebuilding, keeping the original façade, with shops on the ground floor and a music conservatory and concert hall on the first floor. 1926-1928 redecorated by Sophie Taeuber-Arp, Jean Arp and Theo van Doesburg.
