Built ca. 1470 as a granary on the site of a former synagogue. 1534 converted into an arsenal ("Zeughaus St. Barbara"), named after Saint Barbara, the patron saint of artillerymen. In the late 19th century first upper floor converted into a concert hall (later used as a council chamber), second floor converted into a multi-purpose hall.
