Built 1846 for Alexandre Dumas. Opened 20 Feb 1847 as "Théâtre Historique". 1851 renamed "Opéra-National". 1852 renamed "Théâtre Lyrique". 1862 renamed "Théâtre du Boulevard du Temple". Closed 21 Oct 1863. Subsequently demolished.

[In 1862, another "Théâtre Lyrique" (today's "Théâtre de la Ville") was opened at another site on place du Châtelet.]
