Built 1861 by Alphonse Cusin as "Théâtre du Prince impérial". Later renamed "Théâtre Lyrique municipal de la Gaîté". Closed 1989. Subsequently interior decoration demolished. Re-opened 2011 as a centre for contemporary music and technology.
