Country: Portugal City: Santarém Location: Marvila, Avenida 5 de Outubro 5 Built 1877-1884 by José Luís Monteiro on the ruins of the Church of Saint Martin. Opened as "Teatro de Santarém". 1894 renamed in honour of the actress Rosa Damasceno (1845-1904). Demolished 1937 in favour of a new theatre building (built by Amílcar da Silva Pinto, opened 1938).
