Country: Portugal City: Lisboa Location: Rua António Maria Cardoso 38 Opened 22 May 1894 as "Teatro Dona Amélia", named after the Queen consort of Portugal, Amélia of Orléans (1865-1951). 1910 renamed "Teatro da República".
