Rediscovered during the renovation of Plaza Mayor in 1953. Re-opened 29 May 1954. Considered the best preserved surviving example of a 17th century Spanish "corral de comedia" (courtyard theatre). Venue of the annual Festival Internacional de Teatro Clásico. |
