Built by Vilhelm Lauritzen. Opened 1945 as headquarters of national Danish broadcaster DR. 1958 and 1972 extensions. Closed 2006 and converted to the home of the Royal Danish Academy of Music and Museum of Music. The complex includes a 1200-seat concert hall with a pipe organ (built by Marcussen in 1946).
